Henry Vivel was born in Bogota Colombia. Vivel became the lead singer of Tropicanada Orchestra in 2009 with Denis Pankov Pianist and Musical Director; he prepared his first concert in 2010, which was successfully performed at Unity Toronto. Since then, Tropicanada Orchestra and Henry Vivel has been a pioneer Latin band.
In 2013 Henry Vivel releases his first Album called Cada Vez. Cada Vez single opened the opportunity to participate at the 57th biggest Salsa Festival in Cali Colombia and gave him his first award for a Canadian Salsa song. His first album was a fusion of different music genres including Cumbia, Gypsy, Salsa and Pop styles.
Today Henry is actively studying a Bachelor of Music at York University. Henry released his second Album called Resucitare early January 2016 produced by Wiloz Creative Shows. The new album captured old music genres such as Mambo, Cha Cha, and Salsa and recycled in a more vibrant and contemporary style preserving the traditional Afro music structures and genres. The new album feature one of the greatest masters from Dominican Republic Sergio Vargas who shared a song called Dime Donde by Charlie Mosquea. Because of the fusion of different languages and styles the album Resucitare is known in Latin America as a Tropical Crossover blend.
Vivel traveled the summer of 2016 to Mexico and South America on a promotional TOUR called VIVE a VIVEL 2016. Henry was nominated to premios Oye,the 10 most influential Hispanics in Canada, and Academy Music Award. He won an award in Mexico City at Galleria de Estrellas for his new song Resucitare as well as Artist of The year 2016. Henry was recognized by Zulyz Salsa Club Academy for his successful TOUR in Mexico, and he won the best performance award from Hombres Del Cuadrilatero.
